Keeping us in the empire: a Parliament riddled with collaborators

Can we rely on the same political class who surrendered our freedoms in the first place?

We are not leaving the EU, don’t look for it don’t hope for it you will only be disappointed.

There are 27 countries in the EU, 11 of them contribute 34 billion or thereabouts and that money is used to pay for the loyalty of the other 16 countries.

The UK’s contribution, another 9 billion, is what pays for the administration and the EU organisations.

Which doesn’t really make sense, because the EU doesn’t produce anything. It doesn’t sweep the roads or pay for healthcare or police or defence or anything else.

Now that is an extraordinary amount of money and I don’t believe the EU can survive without this money, at least not in its current form. It will have to severely tighten its belt and lose a lot of influence amongst the member states, which in turn will lead to other member states reviewing the benefits of remaining in.

So, our MPs are the ones who hold the power, they can make or break the EU.

Now, what would it cost to say to each and every MP in the commons, “Now look, Brexit has shown some vulnerabilities in the EU and we would like to engage you, should you ever wish to give up politics, as an advisor to the EU for a salary of 200k (twice what you are earning as an MP). Work 5 years and you get a pension of 100k a year and when I say work, I mean no more than 12 days a year. Of course, this only works if the UK is in the EU otherwise there is no point. . . ”

Bang, suddenly ¾ of MPs are loyal to the EU and they don’t care if they get deselected, in fact, sooner the better as long as the UK stays in the EU. What did it cost? Nothing so far. Is it legal? Of course.

So, let’s say 5 years down the line, some of these MP’s are turfed out of the commons – let’s say 300 and let’s say the EU is true to its word. That’s 100 million over the next 10 years that they have to pay these stooges. It sounds a lot but it’s a pittance about 1% of the UK’s contribution over the same period.

The only thing that’s important to the EU is that the EU survives, and we keep paying the bills.

If this an affront to your sensibilities, remember George Osbourne the orchestrator of Project Fear who stepped down as an MP in 2016? Any guesses how much he earns? 850k per day or 500k per speech if it’s just in and out and he doesn’t have to stay for dinner.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
