Danish farmers: Bovaer is animal cruelty
RHODA WILSON
Kent Nielsen, a citizen journalist in Denmark, has published a video and Twitter posts stating that two Danish farmers have already reported that cows being fed Bovaer have developed fevers, diarrhoea and mastitis. One farmer has had 6 cows die after feeding them Bovaer.
The Danish government has been force implementing the feed additive Bovaer into the national herd. The programme began in April 2024 when the Danish government set aside 518 million Danish crowns ($74 million) to finance the feed additive. By January 2025, farmers were being fined for not adding the harmful chemical to cattle feed.
A petition against the use of Bovaer, which was started in January 2025, says, “As of January 2025, the government will force farmers to add the chemical Bovaer to feed additives … Farmers who do not join will be punished with fines by the state.”
The petition goes on to state that several experts have come forward expressing concerns about the health consequences for both animals and humans who consume Bovaer-fed animal products. “Critics argue that the additive’s long-term effects on animal health and the environment are unknown,” the petition states.
Emeritus Jan Raa, who is a Norwegian Professor of microbiology with a PhD in organic chemistry, warns in sharp terms in an article published on 13 December 2024 that: Methane can predispose people to disease. In the article, he describes how methane inhibitors in animal feed can destroy the intestinal flora of both humans and animals.

In March 2025, Nielsen tweeted a video with the comment: “In Denmark, animals and nature are subjected to mistreatment, and so are people. Sorry for my rusty English, but it’s important that people around the world hear a little about how we in Denmark are also under attack from globalism. UN Agenda 2030 is hurting us and our future!”
“They want to drug our animals, and maybe poison our animals, especially the cows, with this drug call Bovaer,” he said in the video below. “I have a personal account from a Danish farmer who has tried this Bovaer on his cows this year, 2025, and what he’s telling me is that his cows are having udder inflammation, they have diarrhoea and have 40 [degree] fever. After some time, the cows don’t want to eat the food with Bovaer in.”
“[This is] animal cruelty. But the farmers in Denmark are pushed to do this … if they don’t give it to the cows, they will have fines from the government,” he said.

At the time of his video, a farmer had reported:

.
A couple of weeks later, Neilsen tweeted about a second farmer’s experience. “This is the second farmer to report animal cruelty when using Bovaer,” Nielsen tweeted. “In less than a month, six cows have died and several others have diarrhoea and must have pumped water into them,” he said and attached an image from a social media post, which was in Danish.
Below, we have extracted the text from the image and then translated it using an online translation tool.

FY FOR SATAN

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
