Creolisation

PAUL COLLITS

Perhaps Kel Richards at Ozwords should make “creolisation” a word of the day. For it is one of the most important words, or, at least, it describes one of the most significant global developments in our day. Globally transformative. A killer of the nation state. A crusher of liberalism and democracy. A feeder of tyranny. A foundational element of the globalist creed that now runs life.

Here is one definition:

Originally a Caribbean concept, creolisation describes the mixing together of different people and cultures to become one.

The term comes from the word creole, used to describe people born in the New World as opposed to those who were African-born slaves. The idea of creolisation gained prominence during the Second World War, when scholars, such as the Martinique poet and politician Aimé Césaire wrote about the ambiguities of Caribbean life and the cultural identity of black Africans in a colonial setting. In this respect, creolisation can be related to Négritude. Today the term creolisation is sometimes used to describe the cultural complexity of the world we live in and of the many diverse societies that exist within it.

It all started as being about linguistics and language mergers. It has broadened to be about culture.

Another and more controversial word for creolisation is “replacement”, as in replacement of whites in Western countries with imports.

All this came to mind upon discovering the identity of Britain’s new head of the Office for Standards in Education, aka Ofsted. It is one Sir Mufti Hamid (as in Muhammid) Patel.

GB News summed it up thus:

Former headteacher who urged pupils to ‘recite the Koran’ and ‘wear hijabs outside of school’ appointed as Ofsted chairman.

https://www.gbnews.com/news/ofsted-chairman-former-headteacher-islamic-schools-appointed-hamid-patel

Why not? Patel is now a typical Brit. The mother country has been well and truly creoled. One news source referred to “the Islamisation of the UK”.

The British capital isn’t called Londonistan for nothing. Gary Scarrabelotti notes:

Hamid Patel has been appointed head of the UK Education Standards Authority. He will inspect schools and educational institutions in England to ensure that they “promote British values.”

… By the way, Pakistani Sadiq Khan has been mayor of London since 2016. In October 2024, he said that London needs more migrants. He officially banned British taxi drivers from flying the English flag with the St. George’s Cross on their cars, so as “not to offend minorities.” And in 2023, Sadiq Khan posted a photo of a young white family with the caption: “does not represent true Londoners.”

Real Maalouf opines on X:

Everything that British children learn in schools from now on will go through him. Just wow.

https://x.com/realMaalouf/status/1900398027015147606?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1900398027015147606%7Ctwgr%5E7fbbf747afdd8b8d39516fd725407065a8fe7e7b%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.freepressjournal.in%2Feducation%2Fwho-is-hamid-patelreligious-school-leader-appointed-as-ofsted-chairman-in-uk

It is all simultaneously alarming and unsurprising. The Reform UK, after all, has as its Chairman a “Scottish” businessman named Muhammad Ziauddin Yusuf. The Mayor of London, as noted, is Sadiq Khan. The previous British PM was called Rishi Sunak. The British Justice Minister is called Shabana Mamoud.

Most of the hotels across Old Blighty are now places of refugee accommodation. Rotherham, Telford and the rest are havens for Pakistani child rapists. The boats continue to cross the channel, in the greatest coordinated crossing since Operation Dynamo in 1940.

Britain’s open border policies executed since Tony Blair and enthusiastically supported by all Tory leaders since David Cameron have not only changed the face of the ruling class. They have also altered the demographic profiles of criminals. The Daily Mail reports:

The shocking rise of ruthless Albanian gangs who now control UK drug trade: Up to one in 36 men born in Balkan state but living here are in jail, according to first of its kind league table of criminals by nationality.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14485991/Albanian-UK-criminals-nationality-data.html

One in ten Albanian men now live in Britain. Mark Steyn concludes:

‘In 50 years there will be no Albanian men in Albania and it will be safe for us all to move there.’

Sounds like a plan. Those of us considering leaving Australia if Albo gets back might want to consider Albania.

The top ten foreign nationalities in British prisons are Albania, Guinean, Algerian, Vietnamese, Sudanese, Palestinian, Eritrean, Tunisian, Gambian and Iraqi.

Looks like a bit of a pattern. This is the creolisation of British correctional facilities. No wonder the Muslims want Sharia law. British law isn’t always kind to them, on the face of it. Oops, this isn’t quite right. Many native Britons – whatever that even means now – think that there are two tiers of law enforcement afloat, and the advantage goes to the newcomers. Ask Tommy Robinson. Tom Harris in the London Telegraph writes:

In just over a fortnight [from 17 March 2-25] new sentencing guidelines will come into force which will advise judges that ethnic minority defendants should normally not be sentenced until a pre-sentencing report about them is completed.

The guidelines are just the latest example of the wholesale capture of our institutions by Marxist academic thought. The peculiar notion of “equity” has replaced “equality” in many organisations.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/03/17/colour-blind-principles-must-prevail-over-two-tier-justice/

The British leftist press, of course, denies it exists.

Two-tiered justice is the logical outcome of a wicked combination of transformative victim class ideology, driven by cultural relativism, and mass immigration to former colonial powers. Of the canny invader/occupier eating its generous, naïve host. Of philosophy and real estate.

But then we get the French leftist, Jean-Luc Melenchon, who has argued for creolisation. The very odd headline reads:

French far-left leader calls for the Great Replacement.

He continues:

France is destined to be a Creole (mixed Black and French) nation and so much the better! Let the young generation do the replacement of the old… Each generation is a new people!

https://x.com/RMXnews/status/1887811772112937023

Sacre bleu! Quelle horreur! A leftie who not only acknowledges replacement theory but openly advocates it. It certainly takes the edge off the charge of conspiracy theory (inevitably) levelled by replacement deniers, typically located by the legacy media on the “far right”.

The original version of Marxist creolisation came out of the West Indies. CRL James was a prime mover:

C.L.R. James, a prominent 20th-century intellectual, used the concept of “creolization” to describe the cultural mixing and transformation that occurs when different cultures interact, particularly in post-colonial contexts, leading to the emergence of new cultural forms and identities.

Source: AI Google.

He “creolised” Rousseau and Marx.

An evil combination if ever there was one, and no wonder it has now emerged in the twenty-first century as a civilisation killer. There can be little doubt about this. The foundational elements of modern liberal democracy, nations, democratic institutions and liberty, are all challenged and will ultimately be crushed by the lethal combo described above.

James also wrote a Marxist cricket book, perhaps the only one ever penned.

Good Lord!

We all know that capitalism has tried its best to destroy cricket, but this is next level Marxism.

Speaking of capitalism, it has been (ironically) libertarians who have been some of the most fervent advocates of open borders and the crushing of the nation state. The nation state has grown into a socialist behemoth. That much, we know. But it is also a bulwark against the globalist forces so keen now to crush democracy within nation states. How is that for irony and the contradictions of liberalism, as Patrick Deneen, RR Reno and the national conservatives like Yoram Hazony have eloquently described. Crush the nation state, create a new liberal world order, then you get … reverse colonialism, third world invasions of civilised countries and the death of democracy, and ultimately, of in-country liberty. Ouch.

Yes, creolisation, or whatever you want to call it, has been that consequential.

There are other consequences to throwing open the borders, apart from crime, child rape, the Albanianisation of Britain, cultural wars, the destruction of traditional Western values, the alienation of nativists and the jailing of Tommy Robinsons. Roger Scruton called it oikophobia. The hatred of stale, pale and (when combined with radical feminism) male. It is now embedded in metropolitan elites and their offspring, and reinforced in every last cultural institution.

That doesn’t look much like a benign merger between cultures, a peaceful blending of language, culinary practice, innovation and inter-racial lurve. Nope. The recipe turns out to be one of multi-mono-cultures, enclaves, victimhood, welfare dependency, violence, calls for the overthrow of the host nation’s culture and laws, and, as far as Islamists are involved, the caliphate. A reverse take over of a half decent civlilisation. The only one that has a half decent crack at creating and safeguarding individual freedom.

Quelle horreur, M. Melenchon! You can shove your creolisation là où le soleil ne brille pas.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
