Black Belt Barrister argues that the UK’s pledge of £300,000 of taxpayer’s money for training and another £300,000 for additional projects is insufficient to address the scale of the problem –  these sums cannot provide the necessary resources to effect meaningful change.

Another point of contention is the practical challenges associated with repatriating individuals who lack proper identification and documentation. The process of determining their country of origin and arranging their return is often impossible, leading to delays and complications. This poses a significant hurdle to the successful implementation of the migration and repatriation aspects of the agreement.
