The “Family Farms Tax” threatens to destroy small farmers, endanger our food security, and have a huge knock-on effect of job losses.
Today, please add to the pressure by sending a quick message to Chancellor Rachel Reeves and PM Starmer:
Step 1: Get ready to contact Reeves & Starmer

With the combination of changes to both Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief on Inheritance Tax you are courting disaster and risking our food security. Many family farmers will be forced to close their farms and sell, with knock-on effects of business closures and job losses. As you know, small family businesses will be affected too, not only farmers.
Economists calculate the BPR tax change alone will cost over £1 bn more than it brings in, due to the resulting loss of 125,000 jobs and a £2.6 bn reduction in tax revenue from economic activity.
This makes a mockery of the argument “the money is needed for public services,” – an argument already looking threadbare with the Govt sending £500m to farmers overseas.
This policy must be rethought urgently.

Reminder: The CAN (Climate & Nature) Bill – contact your MP ahead of Friday
The CAN (Climate & Nature) Bill – contact your MP ahead of FRIDAY’s second reading in Parliament…
The CAN Bill is like Net Zero on steroids (new article about it here).
Although it is a private member’s bill, which makes its passage more challenging, shockingly it’s backers claim to have the support of 30% of MPs.
If you have not yet done so – please contact your MP today:
Our campaign page HERE explains exactly what to do.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
