The Grand Unifying Theory of Woke and Globalist Ideology

TOM ARMSTRONG

A small group of super-rich individuals and the organisations they control appear to view ordinary people as increasingly expendable. With the rapid rise of artificial intelligence and robotics, the economic need for large human populations is collapsing. Mass unemployment looms. The elite fear that desperate, jobless masses could one day turn violent against them. This single fear helps explain the otherwise baffling collection of policies and cultural movements we call “woke” and “globalist”. These threads; climate hysteria, pandemic policies, collapsing healthcare, open borders, and aggressive cultural progressivism, are not random. They form a coherent strategy to reduce population growth, weaken social cohesion, and prevent any serious challenge to elite power.

Begin with the climate narrative. For decades, man-made global warming has been promoted not as a scientific debate but as an unquestionable moral crusade. Young people learn from school age that humanity is a plague upon the Earth. Carbon dioxide, a trace gas essential to plant life, is portrayed as an existential poison. The solution offered is always the same: radical cuts in living standards, energy rationing, and, crucially, fewer humans. Governments push net-zero targets that make energy expensive and unreliable. Young couples are repeatedly told that having children is selfish and environmentally destructive. A 2021 survey found that 39% of young people globally feel hesitant to have children because of climate concerns. Birth rates in the West continue their long decline.

Prominent figures have been remarkably open about the population angle. In his famous 2010 TED Talk, Bill Gates stated that improving vaccines, healthcare and reproductive services could lower projected population growth by 10 to 15 percent. Watch the talk here. The World Economic Forum regularly publishes pieces suggesting that overpopulation threatens the planet and that people in rich countries should embrace “degrowth”, a deliberate reduction in consumption and family size. One of the most notorious examples was the Georgia Guidestones, erected in 1980, which called for maintaining global population “under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature”, an 94% reduction from today’s numbers. The monument was mysteriously destroyed in 2022.

The message is clear: the planet will be saved when there are far fewer of us consuming resources. The young are encouraged to feel guilt for existing and to choose voluntary extinction through childlessness.

Then came COVID-19. In October 2019. Just weeks before the outbreak in Wuhan, the Johns Hopkins Centre for Health Security, the World Economic Forum and the Gates Foundation ran “Event 201”, a high-level pandemic simulation involving a deadly coronavirus. Full exercise details here. Coincidence? No, convenient – for the Globalist de-population agenda. Governments quickly imposed unprecedented lockdowns, school closures and travel bans. Fear was relentless. Most controversially, experimental mRNA vaccines were rolled out globally at record speed under emergency authorisation – with immunity given to the producers. This is an important fact, as excess deaths in highly vaccinated countries have remained elevated in younger age groups, as shown in several studies. See one study here. Fertility rates dropped sharply in 2021–2023 across dozens of countries. See data here. Some scientists now openly discuss possible long-term effects of mRNA technology on reproduction and immune function.

A group of Minnesota House Republicans have even introduced a bill that would label mRNA injections as “weapons of mass destruction” and propose to criminalise their possession or administration with a potential penalty of up to 20 years in prison. Bill details here. Similar bills have been proposed in states such as Idaho, Iowa, Montana, South Carolina, and Tennessee, all seeking to restrict or ban the use of mRNA technology. More here. Needless to say, these proposals have met with ferocious opposition from the usual sources. Regardless, the pandemic certainly achieved three goals favoured by population-reduction advocates: it culled large numbers of elderly people, accustomed the public to authoritarian control, and coincided with a significant drop in birth rates. It also has probably resulted in excess deaths in younger people (of breeding age) and put many off having children who might otherwise have started families.

The decline of healthcare systems fits the same pattern. In Britain, the NHS has been allowed to deteriorate year after year: record waiting lists, crumbling hospitals, and doctors leaving in droves. In Canada, Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) has expanded at astonishing speed. Euthanasia is now offered not only to the terminally ill but to the disabled, the mentally ill, and even those whose main problem is poverty. Several European countries are moving in the same direction. A system that quietly encourages the early exit of the unproductive elderly saves money and reduces future pension liabilities. It also fits the Globalist agenda.

War serves the same end. Conflict kills young men of breeding age and disrupts societies in ways that cut birth rates. This explains the constant talk in the West of war with Russia. Anyone who looks at the facts sees that Russia was provoked into the war in Ukraine. NATO expansion pushed right to Russia’s borders, ignoring repeated warnings from Moscow. See analysis here and here. Russia poses no real threat to the West. Yet leaders keep raising the alarm and calling for more arms to Ukraine. They even float ideas of conscription to build armies for a wider fight. See reports on European conscription plans here. The same goes for tensions with China over Taiwan. Western leaders warn of coming war and urge more military spending. See discussions here. These conflicts drain resources and lives from the young. They fit the cull by creating chaos that discourages families and removes potential revolutionaries before they rise up.

Mass immigration is the next piece of the puzzle. Western leaders have deliberately opened borders to historic levels of migration, predominantly young men from high-fertility regions. This serves multiple purposes. It drains source countries of their most dynamic young males, slowing population growth in the Third World. In the West, it creates intense pressure on housing, wages, schools and healthcare. Crime rates have risen sharply in many migrant-heavy cities. Native populations feel culturally displaced and socially anxious. The result? Lower trust, higher division, and a deep reluctance to start families in unstable, expensive, and often dangerous environments. Birth rates among native Europeans and North Americans continue to collapse while elites celebrate “diversity” as an unquestioned good.

The woke cultural revolution supplies the ideological glue. Radical feminism has convinced two generations of women that career success and sexual freedom are far more important than motherhood. The average age of first birth has risen sharply while fertility has plummeted. Easy abortion, celebrated as sacred, has ended tens of millions of potential lives in the West alone. The transgender movement takes this further. Children are encouraged to question their biological sex, often with life-altering puberty blockers and surgeries that frequently result in permanent sterility. What was once a rare psychological condition has become a social contagion promoted in schools and media. The logical endpoint of gender ideology is the end of natural reproduction for those who fully transition.

Critical Race Theory and aggressive DEI policies deepen racial resentment and undermine national cohesion. Environmental extremism merges with woke ideology, teaching that human beings, especially Western ones, are the enemy of nature. Veganism, “meat taxes”, and the glorification of childless urban lifestyles all push in the same direction.

Meanwhile, the technological future accelerates the logic. Artificial intelligence and robotics are replacing human labour at an exponential rate. Entire industries face massive disruption. When the elite need only a few million skilled technicians and creative professionals to run their automated empires, what use is a surplus population of billions of potentially dangerous, angry and desperate people?

Some already speak openly of Universal Basic Income as the solution. A dependent population kept docile with just enough money to survive, distracted by entertainment, drugs, and virtual reality, poses little threat. Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) would allow total financial surveillance and programmable money that can be switched off for dissenters. This is the emerging techno-feudal order: a tiny owner class, a small cognitive elite, and a large, pacified, shrinking underclass whose main economic role is to consume and stay quiet.

The disparate policies suddenly make sense as part of one overarching project: reduce the number of people, weaken their families and communities, erode their ability to organise, and make them dependent on the state and corporations. Climate hysteria scares people out of having children. Pandemic policies test control mechanisms and reduce fertility. Immigration creates division. Woke ideology destroys the traditional family and confuses the young about basic biology. Healthcare decline quietly removes the old and unproductive. Automation removes the need for the rest.

None of this requires a single meeting in a smoke-filled room. It requires only a shared class interest among the ultra-wealthy, captured institutions, and ideological conformity among the professional managerial class. The good news is that this project is not invincible. Fertility collapse is now so severe that even some globalist institutions are beginning to sound the alarm. Public scepticism towards net-zero zealotry, mass migration, and gender ideology is rising fast. The harder they push, the more people wake up.

The solution lies in rejecting their vision entirely. Nations must regain control of their borders. Families must be actively supported through tax policy and culture. Energy policy must be realistic, not utopian. Free speech and biological reality must be defended. Most importantly, ordinary people must stop accepting guilt for their own existence.

The elites believe they no longer need us. Our task is to prove them wrong by refusing to disappear quietly – and to reverse engineer the whole thing and show these ‘elites’ that we do not need them and will not put up with their evil machinations.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
