Southport stabbings: Who trained Axel Rudakubana? Could he have learnt from his father?
RHODA WILSON
Louise Uwacu, a Rwandan who fled from the criminal dictatorship of Paul Kagame and is now living in Canada as a refugee, has been asking some no-holds-barred questions about the links between the murders of the three girls in Southport to the perpetrator’s father’s past in Rwanda.
In a podcast released in early August, just 6 days after the horrific attack on children at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England, Uwacu had managed to trace the perpetrator’s father, Alphonse Rudakubana, to his life in Rwanda before he immigrated to the UK.
Alphonse was a child soldier in Rwanda’s “Killing Machines Army.” He did not enter the UK as a refugee as a viral Twitter post claimed. He legally immigrated to the UK after he was discharged from Kagame’s army for being underage and having issues with rage.
Alphonse’s past in the Killer Machines Army may have influenced his son’s terrorist actions in Southport, Uwacu said. Knowing the culture and history of Rwanda and the 1994 genocide that Alphonse participated in as a child, she asks: Who taught Axel about genocide? Who trained Axel to use a knife?
Her questions regarding where Axel Rudakubana received his training are even more pertinent now than they were then. Axel has since been charged with 3 murders, a terrorism offence and producing the highly toxic poison ricin.
Uwacu’s questions don’t stop there. Guess who finances the Rwandan criminal dictatorship and its Killing Machine Army? And what ties does the UK have to the Rwandan dictator Kagame?

Disinformation Used As Smoke And Mirrors
A couple of weeks ago, we published an article about a Twitter post that had gone viral regarding the Southport murderer’s father. The Twitter post was clearly inaccurate and that it went viral so quickly is usually an indication that nefarious actors have got involved to promote it. Why would, for example, state actors promote disinformation?
One reason could be to catch out those standing up for truth and freedom and throw them in jail, or at least drag them through court, as an example to others. The example the Government would be setting is not to question the Government. The psychology behind making an example of a few is if you abuse police powers and the law to harass a few people and do it very publicly, then 1,000 will be scared into silence.
Considering the aftermath, it is entirely possible, and likely, that the initial viral Twitter post about the Southport murderer’s identity, and that he was on an MI6 watchlist, was an example of deliberately spread misinformation by state actors for purposes of removing the right to freedom of speech, and taking control of the narrative because the state has made the public fear speaking out.
Another reason state or other actors promote false information could be for the disinformation to act as a decoy so that when the real story comes out it is dismissed as a “conspiracy theory” without a second thought.
If what Louise Uwacu is reporting below is true, or even substantially true, the second viral tweet surrounding the Southport murders, sharing misinformation about the Southport murderer’s father, would then be proven to be spread as a decoy to throw the public off the scent of the circumstances that led up to the murders.
Louise Uwacu is a talk show host and author who was born in Rwanda but is now living in Canada as a refugee, having fled from what she refers to as the Kagamistan dictatorship. Because its victims have the saying “Never again,” she was very concerned about the brutal Southport murders and what made the perpetrator, Axel Rudakubana, commit this heinous crime.
What prompted her to air her show in early August 2024 was that Uwacu had discovered disturbing information that she believed contributed to the incident, including the fact that Axel Rudakubana’s father, Alphonse, was in the military in Rwanda.
“We’re talking about this military which is known as a ‘Killing Machines Military’, a ‘Killing Machine Army’,” she said. “This is not me describing this military – the Kagamistan criminal dictatorship in Rwanda, their military – they described themselves as ‘killing machines’.”
She posted what she had heard on Facebook saying that it was from unreliable sources and requested whether anyone could confirm or deny whether Alphonse Rudakubana was in the Killing Machines Army.
She received a response confirming that Alphonse was indeed in the Rwandan Killing Machines Army.
Uwacu’s Facebook account was hacked and disappeared after she shared this information, and a video she shared was also censored. She suspects that her account was hacked by the Kagame criminal dictatorship in Rwanda due to the sensitive nature of the information she exposed.
In her podcast, Uwacu shared what she had been told and explored the case further to understand what led to Axel’s actions. To do this, she examined the Rwandan community, culture, history and politics to understand the factors that may have contributed to the killer’s mindset and actions. She also discussed why she believes white people are in danger.
Offering her condolences to the families of the victims of the Southport Killer, she committed to exposing any information that can help in the quest for justice, emphasising the importance of speaking out and not staying silent in the face of tragedy. The goal of sharing this information, she said, is to help the victims and their families achieve justice and to encourage self-reflection on societal factors that may have contributed to the crime.
For Uwacu, the unprovoked and deadly attack on children during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, UK, raised questions about the life of the young man, 18-year-old Axel Rudakubana (“the Southport Killer”), and what may have contributed to him becoming a killer.
The father’s past in the Killer Machines Army may have influenced his son’s murderous actions in Southport, Uwacu said.
As mentioned above, it was discovered that the father of the Southport Killer, Alphonse, had been in the military, specifically in the Kagamistan military in Rwanda, which describes itself as a “killing machine.” He was discharged from the Killer Machines Army; the exact timing of his joining and discharge is unknown but it has been confirmed he was discharged around 1995, Uwacu said.
A person commenting on a Facebook post confirmed that the father was indeed in the military and was discharged from his duties, later becoming an immigrant in the United Kingdom.
Before the 1994 genocide of Tutsis, the Rwandan Patriot Front (“RPF”) led by Paul Kagame, who is a Tutsi and current President of Rwanda, assassinated two African presidents which led to riots and retaliation against innocent Tutsis, known as the 1994 Rwandan genocide.
What happened in Rwanda, Uwacu said, is “people heard that two presidents had been assassinated, two African presidents assassinated, and then they reacted. They retaliated against some people who are innocent in the population who belonged to the tribe of the people who assassinated the president.”
When he was a child, the Southport Killer’s father was in Kagame’s Killing Machines Army during the genocide. Alphonse was discharged from the army in 1995 after the genocide, reportedly due to being underage and having rage issues. A friend of Alphonse, who knows him well, has confirmed that he was in the army and was discharged due to being underage.
In 2002, Alphonse moved to the UK as an immigrant, not a refugee, and his son, the Southport Killer, was born in 2006. That Alphonse did not enter the UK as a refugee but instead went through the process of obtaining visas and immigrating legally contradicts what the viral tweet attempted to portray about Keir Starmer assisting Rwandan refugees, one of which was Alphonse. The tweet was smoke and mirrors to perhaps cover for something worse as we find out in Uwacu’s podcast.
There are suspicions that the father may have been sent to the UK as a spy, Uwacu said, as the Kagamistan military, the Rwandan Patriotic Front’s (“RPF’s”) Killing Machines Army, does not typically let people go easily.
“The problem with this Kagamistan thing is it ends up becoming like a religion,” Uwacu said. “People who join the Kagamistan Killing Machine, the army, the RPF (the Rwandan Patriotic Front), it ends up becoming like a religion.”
What this criminal dictatorship of the Kagamistan in Rwanda has in common with Islam is that “once you join and you pledge – they join, they pledge – you cannot leave it,” she said. “When you leave it, they punish you by death, they kill you if you ever leave.”
Uwacu referred her audience to a book titled ‘Rwanda: Assassins Sans Frontiers’ by Michela Wrong which examines the Kagame regime. It seems in English this book is titled ‘Do Not Disturb: The Story of a Political Murder and an African Regime Gone Bad’.
“As the author reveals in great detail, Rwanda’s history has gone off the rails. The rebel group may have started the genocide it claims to have ended. It was also taken over by the most ruthless and coldest of all, Paul Kagame, who made revenge the signature of his reign. The new master of Rwanda thus pursues his former comrades in arms to the end of the world to reduce them to silence.” a description Wrong’s book says. You can read a review of the book HERE.
Because the Rwandan Army demands lifelong service, it is unusual for someone in the Rwandan culture to leave the army peacefully and pursue a civilian life abroad. And despite being discharged from the Army, he was likely still being watched by the Rwandan government, and his ability to immigrate to the UK suggests he might have been part of Rwanda’s ruling elite.
When in the UK, Alphonse continued as a karate practitioner, which raises suspicions, especially considering rumours that he might have been sent to the UK as a spy. Uwacu questions whether his background in karate may have been used as a cover for his true activities.
The Rwandan Army’s Culture of Killing and Its Potential Influence
The Rwandan Army prides itself on being “killing machines” and claims that the younger generation is even more skilled at killing than their fathers were. The fact that Axel, the son of one of these “killing machines,” became a killer is not surprising, given his father’s background and the cultural context of Rwanda.
At timestamp 23:24, Uwacu showed a video of a Rwandan minister bragging about the Rwandan army being an “army of killing machines” and stating that the new generation is even better at killing than the old generation.
As the minister’s comments are in Rwandan, Uwacu translates it. Paul Kagame, the leader of the Killing Machines Army, gave orders and instructions to the army on how they should be trained. “He told them that he wanted the Rwandan Army, the Kagamistan Army, to be trained so that they can become an army of killing machines. That wherever this army of killing machines may pass, that nothing will survive” Uwacu translated.
“And then he says that the new generation is even better than they are. This army of killing machines is even better than they were. So much so that they have no worries whatsoever about the next generation,” Uwacu explained. “Because they are trained, they’re even better than the previous generation.”
“What kind of Madness is that?” she asked.
The Rwandan president, Paul Kagame, also started his military career at a young age, and it is not uncommon for young people in Rwanda to be involved in killing and violence. The cultural context of Rwanda, where children are often exposed to violence and admiration for criminal dictators, can contribute to the development of violent tendencies in young people.
The use of child soldiers in African conflicts, including in Rwanda, is a well-documented issue, and Alphonse was likely affected by his experiences as a child soldier.
Uwacu raised the possibility of a child growing up in an environment where they are trained to do horrible things and later having their own children who may also be influenced by their father’s actions.
“We know what they did to child soldiers in the Rwanda conflict, they make these children do horrible things,” Uwacu said. “If a man goes through that even he goes through that as a young boy, as an underage boy, and then he has children is it so farfetched, does it become such a huge surprise that even one of his children may fall into that?”
She also questioned whether Axel had received military training. “Because they start them young.” Did this child ever go into Rwandan Embassy activities? she asked. These things need to be investigated, she said.
Axel, who committed the horrendous crime in Southport, had a history of violence, having been expelled from school for carrying a knife and expressing extremist views such as the UK “needing a genocide like they had in Rwanda to fix the problems,” according to someone who went to school with Axel. He was known to police and social services, but it’s unclear if they were aware of his father’s past in the Rwandan Army.
Where did Axel get the idea of genocide? Who trained him to use a knife? His actions didn’t come about overnight but rather required training. So, who might have trained him? These questions need to be asked.
Western Support for Criminal Dictatorships and Refugee Issues
It’s the rule of law in the UK, Canada, and the USA which attracts people from other countries. “The rule of law which we would also love to have in our own countries,” Uwacu said.
“But this is where it gets tricky,” she said. “In our own countries, for example, in the case of the Kagamistan in Rwanda. Guess who finances the criminal dictatorship that comes in and the Killing Machine Army kills the people, does war, assassinates presidents and then causes people to run away from them to become refugees?”
These criminal dictatorships in Africa, she said, are supported by some Western countries, including the UK, USA, and Canada. These are the same criminal dictatorships that “make the best and the brightest run away from them so we become refugees.” Refugees that seek refuge in Western countries and bring potential trauma and madness that can put the host society in danger.
“We’re running away from our criminal dictators [to your country] but our criminal dictators are supported by your politicians by your government,” she said.
One solution to this issue is for Western countries to hold their politicians accountable and not allow their money to sponsor criminal dictatorships in Africa. Uwacu called for a boycott of the Kagamistan criminal dictatorship in Rwanda.
“Boycott the criminal dictatorship in Rwanda. Don’t support criminal dictators because they create refugees. And these refugees come to your societies and then who knows what kind of trauma and madness that some of these people are going to come to your society with and put you in danger in your own society,” she said.
The Southport Killer, the UK and Rwandan Connections
The Kagamistan criminal dictatorship might have ties to the UK leadership. “The leadership in England, in the UK, may protect not the victim but the killers because they may be in some deals with the criminal dictatorship of the Kagamistan in Rwanda,” Uwacu said.
She was referring to a recent deal between the UK government and Rwanda to send immigrants to Rwanda which was discovered to be part of a corrupt system, with the UK pouring money into the Kagamistan dictatorship.
She said that Rwandans don’t trust the newly elected Labour government in the UK. Labour has Tony “War Criminal” Blair to thank for that. The UK government, led by Tony Blair, had ties to the Kagamistan dictatorship, with Blair being friends with the dictator and serving as one of his advisors.
We have embedded Uwacu’s video below to begin just a few minutes before her comments regarding the UK government and Tony Blair.
Blair and His “Visionary” Friend Kagame
Ex MI5 anti-terrorism officer David Shayler said that before Tony Blair became the leader of the Labour Party in 1994, he worked for MI5. As Wikispooks notes, “Whether or not it is true, his record would seem to indicate a de facto subservience to the UK deep state.”
He served as the UK Prime Minister from 1997 to 2007. Not long after stepping down as UK Prime Minister, Blair met with Rwanda’s criminal dictator Kagame to pitch his plan for a charity that would embed Western experts in African state ministries, beginning with Rwanda.
In February 2008, Blair flew to Rwanda to give “unpaid [policy] advice to the government.” By July 2008, the Office of Tony Blair had a team of experts in Rwanda. As reported by the Ugandan Independent, Blair’s consultancy was “different from the ordinary support offered by other friends and development partners, which oftentimes shoots the beneficiary in the foot.”
The Independent went on to quote Blair as saying, “Our consultancy is not to tell the people of Rwanda what to do, but to help get done what the president wants.” Kagame said his government does not only receive consultancy services but notably works with Blair to mobilise investments for Rwanda.
In 2010, The Guardian reported that Tony Blair defended his close personal and working relationship with one of Africa’s most controversial leaders, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, even as foreign governments distanced themselves over accusations of war crimes and the suppression of political opposition.
While Kagame came under heavy criticism internationally, Blair described Rwanda’s president as a “visionary leader” and a friend. He had already made Rwanda the focus of the work of his charity, the Africa Governance Initiative (“AGI”). “The initiative includes placing officials hired by Blair in Rwanda’s institutions such as the president’s policy unit, the prime minister’s office, the cabinet secretariat and the development board to assist with administration,” The Guardian said.
Kagame has been a particular favourite of Britain, The Guardian said. “Blair’s former development secretary, Clare Short, directed large amounts of aid to Rwanda and lavished praise on Kagame. Rwanda also recently joined the Commonwealth.”
In 2011, Blair again defended Kagame this time against accusations of human rights violations. Blair stated that he was aware of the criticisms of Kagame’s human rights record but added that personally he trusts and supports him. At the time, according to The Telegraph, Blair was acting as personal adviser to Kagame, while AGI employed about 10 people inside the Rwandan government.
“Young, bright and very eager, Team Blair on the ground in Rwanda has staff in the president’s and prime minister’s offices as well as in the Ministry of Finance and in the Rwandan Development Board. Chauffeur-driven around Kigali in new Toyota Corollas, they mentor local workers and help them draw up and implement policy,” The Telegraph wrote.
Adding, “AGI’s funding is not entirely clear, although none comes from the Rwandan government. Bill Gates’s charitable foundation has made a sizeable donation and so too has the Gatsby Charitable Foundation … The Rothschilds refused to comment last week on their four-day trip and any deals being struck in Rwanda.”
In 2013, Blair defended Rwanda’s role in the Democratic Republic of Congo and denied a UN accusation that Rwanda had been backing the Congolese M23 rebel group. Blair was still acting as a personal adviser to Kagame at the time.
In 2014, The New York Times reported that Blair’s work in Rwanda had suffered along with Kagame’s reputation, which had been undercut by reports of ruthlessness and repression. David Himbara, once the government’s liaison with Blair, had long since left.
Himbara said Blair’s charity “did good work, but good work when you realise you are working with a criminal state, then good work becomes what?” Blair dismissed the criticism, pointing out how far Rwanda had come under Kagame in the two decades since the Rwandan genocide.
It is worth noting that it’s not only Blair who has been praising Kagame. As Politico noted in 2014, Bill Clinton hailed him as among “the greatest leaders of our time.” And Bill Gates works closely with Kagame. “Foreign governments, notably the United States, Britain, Germany and the Netherlands, are [ ] lining up at Kagame’s door with praise, and money.”
In April 2021, Rwanda’s dictator Kagame participated in the Tony Blair Institute panel on the impact of covid-19 in Africa alongside Blair, the Director General of the World Trade Organisation and the Director of the Africa CDC.
In October 2021, Himbara wrote, “Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has been embedded inside General Paul Kagame’s government for over a decade … Tony Blair’s wife, Cherie Blair, has deep roots in Kagame’s Rwanda, too.”
“It turns out that Cherie Blair is the ‘ethics adviser’ to the Israeli firm, NSO Group, whose Pegasus Spyware Kagame deploys extensively to hack African leaders and those he considers enemies,” Himbara said.
Is it possible the UK government is silencing debate and banning Members of Parliament from asking questions about the Southport murder case to avoid awkward questions about or protect the Blairs’ activities and interests in Rwanda?

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
