I’m reminded of this extremely important truth voiced by L Ron Hubbard:
“A culture is only as great as its dreams, and its dreams are dreamed by artists.”
Seems to me that if we are going to play midwife to the rebirth of a new, higher civilisation for the human community of this planet, we have got to dare to dream and dream BIG. And not permit the sorry-assed merchants of dismay that currently pretend to global stewardship to alloy those dreams with their self-serving, dehumanising materialistic psycho-babbling drivel
As Mr Hubbard points out, the role of the artist in dreaming of those dreams is crucial.
One of the artists whose work exemplifies that ideal is the Irish rapper G Capo, the most hardcore and prolific anti-New World Order rap artist on the planet. Stabbed 17 times in 2008 and surviving a second hit on his life in 2019, he has turned his life around from crime and drugs and now uses his art to help and encourage the rise of the human spirit
