Wrote to my MP about the Climate and Nature Bill requesting she vote against it.
Got this answer back a few days ago – apologies for the poor scan quality but was a bit rushed:
So I’ve just replied:
Ms. Ingham MP,
Thank you for your letter dated 12th February 2025.
I was going to do a long and in-depth rebuttal of much of what you or one of your staff have written and/or copied direct from a central office handout but then thought “why bother?’ as you and the Government, the civil service and all those whose livelihoods and income derive from “global climate change”, “net zero” and the “energy transition” absolutely refuse to listen to an opposing viewpoint.
I think that this planet is beautiful and worth saving after visiting most of it over the years and humans need to keep it in a lot better condition than they are keeping it at present.
But not for the reason that the “green agenda” keeps pushing nor how the “green agenda” wants us to do it. There are a lot better ways than starving or freezing to death 50% of the population.
Your letter was that infantile you even got in the “oil companies bad” and “misinformation is from anyone but those we approve of” themes straight out the green cult playbook.
Can you support these statements?
From what I can read and research the biggest purveyors of misinformation are Governments aided and abetted by MSM (read the BBC 2016 agreement, section 67, Defence and Emergency Arrangements and the OFCOM threats about what it is permitted to broadcast if you don’t believe me) that is beholden to them and the UN’s IPCC.
But I would like you to supply “the science” that the UK Government has in it’s possession proving that global climate change is happening – so far many people have submitted multiple FOI requests and have NOT received any scientific evidence that stands up to scrutiny yet. You will find their blogs, FOIs etc available on the internet – maybe your paid researchers and assistants could actually earn their taxpayer funded salary and do some independent research for once and find them for you. I will put some links for them to start their research and learning journey on further down this e-mail.
Have you actually read the proposed legislation in full?
Do you understand what will be required under the proposed legislation to meet the targets stated and how this will affect the country with regards to food production, shipping and imports, transport, tourism, energy generation, standard of living and so on?
Do you realise that this legislation is a continuation from the UK Fires report commissioned by the UK Government about 6 years ago.
Do you understand how photosynthesis works and how CO2 levels impact plant growth?
Do you know how old the planet earth is and compared this against the length of time records have been kept of climate and weather?
If sea levels are rising that fast why has Al Gore purchased a beachside villa in one of the danger areas?
Have you read the recent ENSO document and report to the UK Government asking how does the Government propose to actual meet the net zero transition and still keep the lights on as ENSO have no idea how to do it?
Did you know Michael “hockey stick” Mann has just lost a court case and been ordered to pay a lot of money to the person he defamed about “global climate change” as he could not defend his stance and opinions?
Do you know that for much of the “since records began” in the Southern hemisphere there were just 3 weather stations covering all the area South of the Equator?
Did you know the IPCC admitted they only highlight the worst case scenarios to drive the fear and funding and that these worst case scenarios are 99.9% likely NOT to happen?
Do you know how unscientific, and downright dodgy some of these temperature records and data are? These are some of the recent UK examples:
Can you refute this paper stating quite clearly that CO2 levels ALWAYS follows a temperature rise?
So you don’t have to read all the paper here is the relevant line:
“Using theoretical arguments and statistical tests we find, as in Dagsvik et al. (2020), that the effect of man-made CO2 emissions does not appear to be strong enough to cause systematic changes in the temperature fluctuations during the last 200 years.”

And after reading a lot on the last IPCC boondoggle all I can work out is Key outcomes were:
1 – Give us more money or else
2 – a teenage swimmer in a wetsuit knows more than sensitive electronic measuring devices about sea tempertaures
3 – Net Zero will bankrupt the UK and take us back to the dark ages
4 – it’s all based on such little meaningful data and records going back ony 40 years for some data it cannot be called “science” nor anything else
5 – only those getting lots of money for “green” stuff think it’s worthwhile. Those of us who are paying for it know better.The science is not “closed”.
Feel free to contact me for further information, links your researchers can look at themselves, names of independent scientists who should be included in any discussions about this subject and not just the same old members of the bubble of circle jerk group think handout dependent “experts” and “scientists” that Governments and NGOs use to justify the continuing propagation of the rush back to the dark ages and the final destruction and gutting of of our once great nation.
