Sickening Hands Across the Channel

PAUL COLLITS

Every so often it strikes you that there are some faces you see that you just want to punch. It is an instantaneous reaction. Mercifully, for those of us trying to suppress the hate gene, it doesn’t happen very often.

In this case, it is two for the price of one. Sir Keir Groomer and President Micron. On the Ukraine case, afresh. Keeping the Monty Pythonesque dead parrot of a war going.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/03/02/britain-france-lead-coalition-willing-save-ukraine/

Each are loathed by their own people – Sir Groomer got a “landslide” with barely a third of the vote, and Micron’s French party was smashed in the last parliamentary election – yet still slithering around on the international stage. And doing their best to keep lost wars going, and keeping aflame the dying embers of hope that we will get World War III after all. Throw the unflushable Boris Johnson into the mix, and you have a heady brew, as Frederick Edward points out:

This is, of course, Boris Johnson, who, it is claimed by Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov (and there is apparently no evidence to the contrary), three long years ago in Istanbul convinced the Ukrainians not to make a peace deal with Moscow one hour before they were due to sign it. Johnson’s ego, Lavrov said, doomed Ukraine to eternal conflict.

Their gross malfeasance, driven by ego and malice towards the democratically elected government of the USA, has consequences.

And it isn’t a coincidence, as the old lefties used to say, that the phrase “coalition of the willing” snuck in. It was another scion of the monied military-industrial establishment who coined that phrase-of-convenience. George Herbert Walker Bush. Bush 41.

When is a peace deal not a peace deal? When it’s a war deal, to put it bluntly. When a peace-keeping force arrives in your back yard with missiles and bombs and other weapons of equal distinction. Sounds a tad OTT to me. Friendship with benefits. I hope no one thinks that Sir Groomer is upping the UK’s defence budget just to please Trump.

As Andrew Bridgen notes:

What should be clear now to everyone, that once again despite a peace deal being on the table, many European leaders appear determined that the war in Ukraine not only continues but escalates. Ask yourselves why? And in whose interest are they working?

The estimable George Christensen of these parts (Mackay, Queensland) has, coincidentally, been telling some of the Zelenskyy (one y or two?) backstory. That would be Sniffer Zelenskyy. Sniffy for short.

https://www.tiktok.com/discover/ukraine-president-zelensky-sniffing-nose?lang=en

(Again, is it a coincidence that in the same week that The Sniffer visited, Trump announced an investigation into the 2023 discovery of cocaine in the Big House? A discovery 47 attributed to the Bidens).

This is timely.

George Christensen goes into some familiar territory in his Substack piece – sadly not sufficiently familiar to many among the Ukraine flag waving, chattering classes – such as the Ukrainian attack on its own Russia-friendly regions like the Donbass, the 2014 coup, the installation of Zelenskyy as NATO’s puppet, NATO’s aggressive, push towards the east, the widely acknowledged, massive corruption in Ukraine, the dodgy elections, the declaration of election-free martial law. The list is impressive. Compelling.

Here is good summary of where things stand:

When Vance asked a simple question—why isn’t Ukraine showing gratitude for the billions of dollars in aid—it triggered an outburst. Zelenskyy, instead of thanking the US for bankrolling his war effort, accused America of not understanding what’s coming. Trump, never one to back down, reminded him exactly where he stands: “You don’t have the cards right now.” And he’s right.

Zelenskyy has never been in control of this war. He isn’t some heroic leader calling the shots. He’s a desperate man clinging to power in a crumbling regime, propped up by Western money, Western weapons, and Western propaganda. And now, as Ukraine’s battlefield losses mount, as conscripts are dragged off the streets to fight, as the tide of public opinion in the West shifts—Zelenskyy is panicking.

And why wouldn’t he be? He was never the real power in this war. The real architects of this disaster have been sitting in Washington, Brussels, and London, playing their geopolitical games. The war in Ukraine was never about protecting democracy, and it certainly wasn’t “unprovoked.” It was engineered—deliberately—by the West.

This much we know. But George went into some pretty interesting history between the two ex-communist thuggocracies.

Zelenskyy is of the theatre, and his whole reign has been theatre. Per George Christensen:

Before he was president, Zelenskyy was a comedian—a TV actor in a scripted Ukrainian drama called Servant of the People, where he played a humble teacher who miraculously becomes president. It was pure political fiction.

And then, suddenly, it became real life. His campaign was managed by Western PR specialists—including an Obama speechwriter—and heavily financed by Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, one of the most corrupt men in Ukraine.

Kolomoisky, conveniently, owned Ukraine’s largest oil and gas company and bank. And when Zelenskyy took power, his first priority wasn’t fighting corruption—it was ensuring Western financial houses like BlackRock took over Ukraine’s economy.

This is Wag the Dog, only in real life. A scripted series of political events that sets out to deceive. Z has done well out of the deal:

We now know that Zelenskyy funneled millions of dollars into offshore accounts—money that could have gone to his people. He allegedly used it to buy:

· A $34 million mansion in Miami

· A seaside home for his parents in Israel

· A $3.8 million luxury apartment in London

This is the man the media calls a hero.

And once he was installed, his real job began: provoking war with Russia on behalf of the West.

Indeed. And now Trump has turned off the spigot. Hence the hissy fit (sniffy fit?) in the Big House.

More interestingly, George also suggested that The Sniffer might be an MI6 asset. There is some evidence for this. Such as Z’s meeting with “M”. in 2011.

In 2013, the left-wing Covert Action magazine published an explosive revelation about Zelenskyy that should shock anyone who still believes the mainstream narrative. In October 2020, long before Russia’s military operation, Zelenskyy secretly met with Sir Richard Moore, the head of MI6. Not the British Prime Minister. The head of British intelligence. Diplomatically, that makes no sense. But if Zelenskyy was an MI6 asset, it makes perfect sense.

According to Andriy Mishin, a former employee of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, this meeting signified that Zelenskyy was a professional intelligence agent and that Moore was his direct handler, telling him what to do.

Since 2020, he has surrounded himself with British—not Ukrainian—security guards. When Zelenskyy visited the Vatican in May 2023, he snubbed Pope Francis and instead spent his time with British Bishop Paul Gallagher. His handler, Sir Richard Moore, was also present.

Are we really supposed to believe this is all coincidence?

More coincidences! If Z isn’t a British spy, well, he should have been. The evidence is circumstantial. But … If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck … The suggestion is totally consistent with the facts of his ascension to power and events since.

This is what Sir Groomer and Micron and the American neocons like Victoria Nuland and the Ukrainian (Azov) Nazi aligned militias are defending. Just great. And all funded by … us!

That Zelenskyy visited a Democrat Senator before he met Trump should come as no surprise. To get his scripted talking points. As John Leake notes:

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) encouraged Zelensky to reject deal with Trump, confirms my suspicion the Dems have been acting as agents for Ukrainian oligarchic state.

Leake continues:

Because the mainstream media and the Democrats have succeeded in creating widespread adulation for Zelensky and Ukraine, it seems that approximately half of Americans don’t recognize the danger to U.S. national security that this state of affairs poses.

We don’t know who is actually running Ukraine and who is actually receiving the money and taking possession of the weapons, and where the weapons are ending up. What we do know is that multiple international watchdog organizations, including the European Commission, have long regarded Ukraine as one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

Post-Trump, Z is off to the safe haven of Londonistan, for photo opps and more moolah. (One question – since when is in-shot, photo bombing Justin Trudeau, another unflushable, a European)?

Here is the Catturd on Sir Groomer:

This commie idiot is going to cause WWIII.

Source: The Catturd’s Telegram channel, 3 March 2025.

Yep, it seems that the Chauncey Gardener British PM is on this track. Him and his buddy across the English Channel. (Perhaps Sir Groomer should do a reverse-Trump and re-name it the Muhammed Channel).

A Marxist author at Compact magazine, Ted Reese, has written about why capitalism needs war.

Trump’s insight on the unproductiveness of militarism is correct, but capitalism does need war and always has. By the late 19th century, capital had become increasingly reliant on productive overseas investments, rather than mere commodity exports. The US military budget has shot up along with its hundreds of overseas bases over the past century to try to protect and extend these investments. Part of why Britain is particularly aggressive over Ukraine is that in 2013, oil producer Shell secured an exclusive 50-year deal to exploit the natural gas fields between Kharkiv and Donetsk. Russia’s invasion froze that investment cold in its tracks.

These days, Starmer’s extremely stressed chief “left-wing” cheerleader Paul Mason, looking like he’s just beaten Indiana Jones to the Holy Grail, is out on the streets of London imploring leftists to support war on Russia. One wonders whether his pension depends on dividends from weapons manufacturers, but at any rate, any loyalties were rewarded in January when he was appointed an associate fellow of the Council on Geostrategy, which is funded by the arms industry and the Defence Ministry.

Fossil-fuel and weapons manufacturers of course share many of the same bloodthirsty investors. Starmer won the backing of BlackRock in the last election. The world’s wealthiest private-equity firm is one of the largest shareholders in oil and weapons manufacturing and has led the charge in privatizing Ukraine’s public assets in the last few years—another massive transfer of wealth from the whole of the public to a minority of private investors. When Labour’s left social democrat (or self-described “socialist”) John McDonnell also calls on us to “support Ukraine,” he is, like Mason, calling for the support of the Ukrainian capitalist class that is selling off the Ukrainian public’s wealth. Here we have a whole cadre of so-called “socialists” who can’t get their hands on the assets—and blood—of working people fast enough.

https://www.compactmag.com/article/why-capitalism-needs-war/

Oops. Marxists are sometimes instructive and great analysts of capitalism. Karl Marx was one, ironically. Many so-called canny observers have not had eye-balls on the Ukrainian target these past years. As RFK Jr, no Marxist, has said on several occasions, the Ukraine war has been a money laundering scheme for American military-capitalists and their friends in government. There is much more in Reese’s story that bears scrutiny.

Great times we live in, n’est-ce pas? When keeping the world safe for what remains of democracy is left in the capable hands of Groomer, Micro and The Sniffer. And Boris, Albo and Wenny Pong at the fringes. They ain’t the Ace in the Hole Band. Not the A team. That is obvious. Worse, they are bad actors. Dangerous bad.

Boris, of course, was the peace deal killer three years ago. Fact. He killed the deal with minutes to spare.

One footnote. I wonder if all those peace prayer types who write the prayers of the faithful at our churches have gotten the irony that their position, at least on Ukraine, is perfectly aligned with Donald J Trump. Am guessing not.

The same Trump who Douglas Murray-the-neocon believes is “siding with evil”.

No, he is siding with international relations realism, American interests, peace and common sense. Perhaps Elon’s recent encouragement for America to leave NATO will come to pass. The downside of this, of course, is obvious. The keystone cops in charge in Europe will still all be there.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
