OPPOSE VACCINE MANDATES

WHERE THERE IS RISK, THERE MUST BE CHOICE
On 14 December 2021, a majority of 385 MPs voted to implement legislation that means from 1 April 2022 all front line NHS staff will be required to have had two doses of the covid vaccine or potentially face losing their jobs.
The requirement will also apply to those working in general practices, private hospitals, community services and any other health or care organisation.

Nationally, it is estimated that 60,000 care home workers have been sacked due to not having the vaccine, leaving some care homes severely understaffed and others forced to close.

It is estimated that this new legislation will impact over 100,000 staff. Given daily headlines about ‘NHS pressure’ alongside the well-established knowledge that the vaccines do not stop transmission, this policy is completely nonsensical.

Implementing vaccine mandates for NHS front line staff will significantly impact patient care. NHS staff who have chosen not to have the vaccine may be forced to leave their jobs or face dismissal.

The NHS is already understaffed and many of those front line staff worked tirelessly through the last 20 months under intense pressure. To now treat them in this way is completely immoral.

Our next campaign aims to support NHS staff in opposing mandatory covid vaccines with legal and practical advice and also to support employees in other industries as vaccine mandates may be imposed on other sectors.
In Europe and the US, vaccine mandates have been implemented for public and private sector organisations resulting in huge job losses and we must not let that happen in the UK. Once this dangerous precedent has been set, it can be expanded at will.
Where there is risk, there must be choice.
We should all have the right to decline any medical intervention and no one should ever be coerced into taking the covid vaccines. The principle of consent is an important part of medical ethics and international human rights law.
We need as many people as possible to attend the protest on Saturday 18th December and also to join our ongoing campaign against vaccine mandates.

Please join us at Parliament Square at 12pm
We will come back to you next week with the next stage of our campaigning work. Thank you all so much for making a huge impact with over 1000 responses from MPs. We have been told we made a significant impact together.
As NYC demands vaccine passports for 5 year olds & has mandatory vaccinations for all employees, NOW is the time for us to all act together. We stop this when enough of us do so.
