A recent promotion by a new party in the UK starts from the premise that with Brexit we “regained freedom”.
Did we?
Right now, I do not see much evidence of it. I voted for Brexit but what I SEE in front of my eyes on the part of my treasonous government is a very determined attack on freedom and a virtual confiscation of liberty.
This got me thinking and this was my response (I’ve edited it somewhat since).
We did not regain freedom. That much is evident from the shenanigans of our present government as it dances on the strings of as yet not fully identified puppet masters and snatches away our liberties with apparent impunity. We achieved a step TOWARDS freedom at best and in large measure a PRETENCE of freedom. We have not arrived there yet.
An effort to keep what we do not yet have is starting from the wrong point. We need to assess what condition we are actually in so we can handle THAT and , building on the extant rightnesses and correcting the extant wrongnesses, then move forward.
To move forward we also need to define and agree on what we mean by “forward”. We need to work out where we want to go. What is our goal for the nation? What is the ideal scene we wish to arrive at?
One thing that must happen for us to have true national self-governance -for example – is to have restored to elected and accountable (which we also do not yet really have) and honest (we do not yet have that either) government the sole responsibility for creating and spending into circulation debt-free the nation’s means of exchange (which we do not have yet).
We also need to decide and agree on what we even mean by “government”, which at present seems to mean different things to different people.
What is government for? What is it supposed to do, against what criteria and what is its product?
How much “governing” (whatever that means exactly) do we really need?
Are we presently being governed to death?
Yes, but only because we let them.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
