Momentum is building behind a bold new
Parliamentary motion calling for the mass deportation of illegal migrants — and campaign groups are turning up the pressure on MPs to act.

Early Day Motion (EDM) 1142, tabled by Independent MP Rupert Lowe, demands urgent action to tackle the crisis of over one million illegal migrants currently in the United Kingdom.

The motion calls on the Government to “identify, detain, and deport” all individuals living here illegally, citing a breach of national law, the soaring cost to taxpayers, and overwhelming public demand for stronger border enforcement.

.
So far, ten MPs from various parties have signed their names to the motion. The official sponsors include:

  • Rupert Lowe (Independent, Great Yarmouth Primary)
  • Jack Rankin (Conservative, Windsor)
  • Jim Allister (Traditional Unionist Voice, North Antrim)
  • Carla Lockhart (Democratic Unionist Party, Upper Bann)
  • Alex Easton (Independent, North Down)
  • Mr Peter Bedford (Conservative, Mid Leicestershire)
Northern Ireland Great British PAC Envoy Jim Allister KC MP was one of the first MPs to back Rupert Lowe’s motion.

Further support has been added by:

  • Andrew Rosindell (Conservative, Romford)
  • Lewis Cocking (Conservative, Broxbourne)
  • Sir Gavin Williamson (Conservative, Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge)
  • John Lamont (Conservative, Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk)

No amendments have been submitted, and no signatures withdrawn, a clear sign of strong, united backing among early supporters.

Now, the Great British PAC, a political action group with thousands of members across the country, has officially thrown its weight behind the motion. The PAC is urging every supporter to email and tag their MP, demanding they back EDM 1142 and stand up for the UK’s borders.

PAC CEO Claire Bullivant said:
“Rupert Lowe’s motion is a rallying cry to Parliament: illegal entry into the United Kingdom will no longer be tolerated. You only have to listen to what people are talking about in every pub, in every office… this is what people across the country want. MPs must decide whose side they are on — the British people’s, or the lawbreakers.

You wouldn’t accept people running through passport control at an airport, so why are we accepting illegal entries on our beaches? In almost every case, they’re coming from a safe country… France. It just doesn’t make sense.

We urge every concerned citizen to act now: contact your MP and tell them to back this essential motion from Rupert Lowe MP.”

Rupert Lowe himself was even clearer:
“I will take no politician or political party seriously on illegal immigration unless they commit to deporting every single illegal migrant — those arriving now and those already here. It’s really not complicated: they all need to go home.”

Early Day Motions rarely trigger immediate legislative change, however, they are vital for sending a powerful message to Parliament and the public, and momentum is growing fast.

As pressure mounts, the Great British PAC says it will be stepping up its campaign, encouraging citizens to email, tag, and call their MPs and demand they sign Rupert Lowe’s mass deportation motion, and help restore control of Britain’s borders once and for all.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
