Great British PAC Kent Director Kim Rye explains how the south coast has gone from defending Britain with wartime ingenuity to watching helplessly as its borders are breached in plain sight.

In October 1944 an ingenious “pipeline under the ocean” scheme (PLUTO), to pump fuel to our troops on the other side of the Channel, was literally rolled out on a giant “cotton reel” under the sea to Boulogne from Dungeness, Kent.

All of this technology was employed 80 years ago to help defend this country.

Yet today with every available kind of modern technology we are failing to protect our own borders whilst assisting other countries to protect theirs – and simultaneously ASSISTING illegal entry into our own country!

Despite the current insanity that surrounds us, here on the Channel Coast, things are becoming more and more insane by the day.

Try this one for size: here in a remote small town on the Kent/Sussex border we have an Army camp with a firing range. As with all installations of this kind, the whole area is MoD, including the remote beach which is part of a strip of coastline that protrudes towards France. Twelve square miles of shingle to be precise. Wild, and unsurpassable in parts due to a large power station undergoing decades-long stages of decommissioning.

There is a small airport into which there are regular flights from across the Channel, and two lifeboat stations. A couple of years ago that airport was raided and sensitive information about migrant crossings was stolen by an organised crime gang. According to The Sun at the time:  “crucial evidence about people-smuggling operations in the Channel stolen from airfield.”

All in all, the Kent/East Sussex area spans around 400 miles of diverse coastline, most of which is vulnerable due to its close proximity to France. At Dungeness, the narrowest point between this headland and Cap Gris Nez in France is 27 miles (only 25 miles across from Dover, further up the coastline). You can see France clearly from Dungeness on a good day, even better from the top of the old lighthouse at Dungeness Point – and it is said that your digital watch changes to European time around this area, although I have not experienced this as yet!

The Western flank of Dungeness is mostly wild and mostly shingle and the Army Camp MoD beach area forms part of this.

Most of you will have seen images of illegal immigrants landing at Dover. However, they are usually seen walking up a covered walkway and straight onto waiting coaches. This is because Dover Harbour is equipped with all the facilities and it makes sense to take the immigrants there. They can pretty much enter the United Kingdom unseen by the press and locals. (The government would rather you weren’t watching!)

However, until fairly recently, there were many landings taking place at Dungeness, via the local lifeboat, on the beach. The boat would hurtle up the shingle at speed and come to a stop on the shoreline and the illegal arrivals would disembark and walk, escorted, up to the lifeboat station.

I have been on hand on many occasions to film the illegal incomers for GB News and a couple of times for Talk TV, so have seen it all up close and personal: mostly men of varying nationalities, many dressed in designer gear, ALL toting smartphones and many with an entitled and arrogant attitude, using V-signs, and other gesticulations including the Isis sign.

The practice of landing them on this shore has now ceased due to Home Office sensitivity about the immigrants being filmed, but this has not prevented Dungeness becoming a target for those wishing to enter by the “back door”.

As there is abundant “intel” between arriving illegal immigrants and their brethren still on the French side, Dungeness, due to its remoteness, has become a favoured landing spot for those wishing to enter the country unaided. They disappear into the landscape, often witnessed by locals. Some individuals even have vehicles waiting for them located by using the GPS trackers on their phones.

Small groups of men have been spotted by locals arriving and quickly disappearing. There have also been reports of immigrant men knocking on doors asking for their phones to be charged, or for money.

By far the worst and most dangerous aspect of this is, despite the presence of spotter planes, drones and tracking vessels, some of these individuals have managed to land themselves close to the firing range, and on one (reported by the Daily Mail) occasion found themselves entering the country in the middle of a live firing drill. Fortunately, on this occasion they were apprehended. However, it gets worse.

.
This army camp is now training Ukraine soldiers to protect their borders whilst,  a mile or two down the beach our own borders remain unprotected. Yes, there are Border Force vessels and lifeboats in the English Channel, and we often hear the search and rescue helicopter being launched, all of this at great expense to the taxpayer, yet the whole of this coastline is virtually unprotected and open to all comers.

This is played down by the government and the media but it really is open season on this coast, especially in summer but also winter, on less cold days.

People around here have witnessed illegal immigrants emerging from the beach soaking wet. We have had drugs washed up on the shore and even guns in a dinghy one day, when a whole section of the coast was closed off. This was hushed up, but I spoke to several independent and reputable witnesses: allegedly a dinghy full of guns, covered in tarpaulin. The police don’t shut off the roads here for nothing!

I have personally seen the “scouts” on the beach with mobile phones, looking out to sea whilst checking their phones; one day, two of them promptly mounted their moped and rode off at speed once they had seen me observing them.

The point I am making here is that the borders of our south coast are extremely vulnerable: this IS the first successful invasion of our country since 1066. Seeing 30-second clips on TV is no substitute for actually witnessing it yourself first-hand.

The psychological effects of living here, hearing the loud report of machine guns and incendiaries just down the road are quite profound. Sometimes it feels like a war zone with continuous clattering helicopter launches and the smell of gunpowder on the wind. Also, our country is hosting foreign soldiers, training to defend their country, which is actually at war. Meanwhile, our OWN country is literally being invaded, unopposed nearby. You couldn’t make it up!

The irony of this was profoundly evident to me when, at our recent beacon-lighting to commemorate VE Day 80 years ago, when men really WERE defending their own country, we had Ukraine soldiers in attendance, clad in battledress, alongside our own soldiers.

If I live to be a hundred years old I will NEVER understand why we have allowed – and physically stood and watched – our own country being invaded in real time, only now it’s unimpeded and even with a welcoming party present to guide in individuals who KNOW that within hours they are going to be enjoying the luxury of a four star hotel with added perks at our expense. All of this despite having been told they have ILLEGALLY entered our country and are now under arrest!

If somebody could explain the logic of this to me, please do! Seriously! Because I am damned if I can find it!

Meanwhile, I can hear the sound of my granddad, a young Sapper in the Royal Engineers in WWI, and ARP in WWII, spinning in his grave…

The Immigration Myth Crumbles

Foreigners claim over £1 billion in benefits PER MONTH,  and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The soaring bill for Universal Credit payments to people from overseas is the tip of the iceberg. Universal Credit only accounts for about half of working age welfare spending, and the DWP is so far refusing to release the same data for other benefits.

And cash benefits are only part of the story. For example. around half of all the couneil housing in Greater London is occupied by households where the head of the household was born abroad. Of these tenants, around a half are in work, and a half are not.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
