Together Declaration
Hundreds of tractors descended on Westminster yesterday to send a powerful message to the Government on the family farm tax.
You can watch our videos, with many more on the way, at our YouTube channel HERE.
Please also watch and share our interview with third generation farmer Clive Bailye HERE, because Clive explains clearly the realities of farming and why this tax will be so damaging not only to small farmers but related business.
As Alan Miller explains in this video shot at the event, it’s very important MPs get the message about this.
Please help keep the pressure on by following up with your MP with a phone message today, here’s how:
(Not contacted your MP yet? Don’t worry – our campaign page HERE sets out key concerns, and shows how to email your MP quickly.)
STEP 1: Find your MP’s phone number
Find your MP’s phone number HERE
“Constituency office” is usually the best number to call if you are given a choice
STEP 2: Leave your message
You might say something along these lines:
Hello, this is [your name], I emailed you because I am extremely concerned by the changes to both Agricultural Relief and Business Relief on Inheritance Tax and the impact of this on family farms and other small businesses. I’d like to hear back from you on whether you’ll support a rethink of this, because it threatens to be a disaster for our country.
STEP 3: Post on social media – tagging your MP in if you can
Use our template below – or write your own. Tag your local MP if you can, e.g. Just contacted my MP @jeremycorbyn about the family farm tax
You can also download THIS IMAGE and add it to your post

Please note – the tags above works for Twitter but you may need to adjust for other social media platforms.
Thank you – that’s it for today but please stay tuned: in the next few days we’ll have further actions on this important issue.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
