A new paper finds vaccinations increase the likelihood of autism by 4.4 times; a “noted expert in covid” makes a poor attempt to debunk
RHODA WILSON
Last Thursday, a peer-reviewed paper was published in the journal Science, Public Health Policy and the Law. The objective of this study was to determine the association between vaccination and neurodevelopmental disorders in 9-year-old children enrolled in the Medicaid programme from birth.
The researchers analysed claims data for 47,155 nine-year-old children. They found that children with just one vaccination visit were 1.7 times more likely to have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (“ASD”) than the unvaccinated. Shockingly, children with 11 or more visits were 4.4 times more likely to have been diagnosed with ASD
The reviewing editor was James Lyons-Weiler, PhD. Dr. Peter McCullough is not mentioned in the paper but is on the editorial board for the Clinical Research section.
In an effort to debunk the paper’s findings, a Substack page titled ‘Unbiased Science’ said the paper should be disregarded because it was published on a “WordPress blog” and peer-reviewed by Dr. Peter McCullough, “a known promoter of medical misinformation.”
Science, Public Health Policy and the Law is a science-based knowledge, not narrative-dictated knowledge journal that works to make sure that only objective knowledge is used in the formation of medical standards of care and public health policies.
Unbiased Science is led by its founder Dr. Jess Steier, a “public health scientist” and co-founder of Vital Statistics Consulting. She has developed “multiple modes of scientific communication on covid.” According to her biography:
Dr. Steier is a noted expert in COVID-19. She has designed and led multiple COVID-19 related research projects for the largest FQHC [Federally Qualified Health Centre] in New York State, and has developed multiple modes of scientific communication of COVID-19 related information, including diagnostic and antibody testing, population health outcomes, and COVID-19 vaccine uptake. Dr. Steier hosts The Unbiased Science Podcast, the goal of which is to dispel misinformation and misconceptions across an array of science and public health topics.
She holds a Certificate in Patient Safety, as well as a Certificate in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She also holds COVID-19 Certifications (in Psychological Health First Aid for COVID-19 and Returning to Work: Safe Work Practices) from the American Red Cross.
For someone who is a “noted expert” there is surprisingly little about her to be found from an internet search. In fact, the only websites that appear to mention her are her own. As for her claims that she has developed “multiple modes of scientific communication,” we can only guess what her turn of phrase actually means but it sounds like psychobabble for “covid propaganda.” Regardless, it seems she has a vested interest in keeping the false covid narrative alive, which even with a good dollop of imagination cannot be described as “unbiased.”
Bombshell, Peer-Reviewed Autism/Vaccine Study Draws Disturbing Conclusions

The pro-vaxx propagandists are going to have a hell of a time “debunking” this one, although they’re already on the case (more on the coming up). The “debunking” will escalate, surely, if they can’t achieve their preferred objective when it comes to inconvenient narratives of getting it sufficiently suppressed and memory-holed.

The study followed kids enrolled in government healthcare from ages 0-9 to suss out any correlation between the number of vaccine appointments and the incidence of neurological disorders.
The result was a shocking, if not surprising, 4.4-fold higher rate of autism among children with 11 or more vaccine visits to the state versus those with none.
Via Science, Public Health Policy and the Law (emphasis added):
Preliminary studies comparing vaccinated and unvaccinated children have reported that the vaccinated are significantly more likely than the unvaccinated to be diagnosed with bacterial infections, allergies, and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs). The objective of this study was to determine the association between vaccination and NDDs in 9-year-old children enrolled in the Medicaid programme. The specific aims were to test the hypothesis that:
1) vaccination is associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other NDDs;
2) preterm birth coupled with vaccination increases the odds of NDDs compared to preterm birth without vaccination; and
3) increasing numbers of vaccinations are associated with increased risks of ASD.
The study population comprised children born and continuously enrolled in the Florida State Medicaid programme from birth to age 9. Vaccination uptake was measured by numbers of healthcare visits that included vaccination-related procedures and diagnoses. Cross-sectional analyses were performed to calculate prevalence odds ratios (Aims 1-2). A retrospective cohort design was used to compute relative risks specifically of ASD (Aim 3) …
1) vaccination was associated with significantly increased odds for all measured NDDs;
2) among children born preterm and vaccinated, 39.9% were diagnosed with at least one NDD compared to 15.7% among those born preterm and unvaccinated (OR 3.58, 95% CI: 2.80, 4.57); and
3) the relative risk of ASD increased according to the number of visits that included vaccinations. Children with just one vaccination visit were 1.7 times more likely to have been diagnosed with ASD than the unvaccinated (95% CI: 1.21, 2.35) whereas those with 11 or more visits were 4.4 times more likely to have been diagnosed with ASD than those with no visit for vaccination (95% CI: 2.85, 6.84).

The “debunking” leads with vicious character assassinations of the involved parties, including Dr. Peter McCollough, one of the most frequently published and cited cardiologists the world over who was previously a revered clinician and researcher in good standing with the medical establishment until he started saying true things about covid and the “vaccines.”
Via Unbiased Science (emphasis added):
The study’s fundamental flaws begin with its publication process. Legitimate scientific research undergoes rigorous peer review, where independent experts evaluate the methodology, analysis and conclusions before publication in established journals. This work instead appeared on a WordPress blog that is not a peer-reviewed scientific journal, with review conducted by Peter McCullough, who has promoted medical misinformation*. The lead author, Anthony Mawson, has a documented history of retracted vaccine research. Combined with funding from an anti-vaccine advocacy organization (NVIC), these factors raise serious concerns about the study’s scientific validity and reliability.
The study’s legitimacy is fundamentally compromised by its publication venue (a WordPress blog) and funding source (NVIC, an anti-vaccine organization). Lead author Anthony Mawson has a pattern of conducting methodologically flawed vaccine research, with multiple retractions. This study was “peer-reviewed” by Peter McCullough, a known promoter of medical misinformation.
*Note: We’re meant to take seriously “peer-reviewed” science, we’re extolled, as the gold standard – except when we’re not, because reasons, like Democracy™ or whatever.
Shut your mouth, bigot! Don’t ask obvious questions like: Why, when you incessantly insisted on following peer-reviewed science, have you suddenly turned on it because it doesn’t match your narrative?
Now, the whole conflict-of-interest, hidden-angle criticism is rich coming from the quoted authority in this biased “Unbiased Science” rebuttal, TV and social media Doctor Bertha Hidalgo (a PhD, not a medical doctor), who works for various corporate state media enterprises as a STEM Diversity™ mascot and was a Post-Baccalaureate Trainee at Fauci’s NIAID at the turn of the millennium.

Major Study Exposes Autism Surge in Vaccinated Children
A major peer-reviewed study has identified a huge surge in autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders among children who have been vaccinated.
FRANK BERGMAN
The researchers analyzed claims data for 47,155 nine-year-old children who were enrolled in the Florida Medicaid program since birth
They found that children with just one vaccination visit were 1.7 times more likely to have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) than the unvaccinated.
The study also discovered that the likelihood of children developing ASD surged when they received more vaccines.
Shockingly, children who received 11 or more injections were 4.4 times more likely to have been diagnosed with ASD.
The study also found that vaccinated children had a 212% greater likelihood of developing a range of other neurodevelopmental disorders, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), epilepsy/seizures, brain inflammation, and ticand learning disorders.
The peer-reviewed paper for the study was published in the prestigious journal Science, Public Health Policy and the Law.
The study was led by epidemiologist Dr. Anthony R. Mawson and research scientist Binu Jacob of the Chalfont Research Institute in Jackson, Mississippi.
According to the study, the childhood vaccination schedule is likely a significant contributor to the higher rate of autism and neurodevelopmental conditions in vaccinated children.
The study’s authors hypothesized that:
- Childhood vaccination is associated with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Increasing numbers of vaccinations lead to a higher risk of autism.
- Vaccinated preterm babies are at greater risk of neurodevelopmental disorders than unvaccinated babies.
The researchers noted that their study’s findings confirmed their hypotheses.
The results of the study cast serious doubt on government claims that vaccines are not linked to autism.
Mawson and Jacob noted that government-sponsored studies have not compared health outcomes in vaccinated versus completely unvaccinated children.
The study found that, across all metrics, vaccinated children had a higher rate of neurodevelopmental disorders compared to those who remained unvaccinated.
According to the findings:
- The relative risk of developing a neurodevelopmental disorder grew as the number of doctor’s visits that included vaccinations increased. Children with just one vaccination visit were 1.7 times more likely to have been diagnosed with autism compared to those who were unvaccinated.
- Children with 11 or more vaccination visits were 340% more likely to be diagnosed with autism compared to unvaccinated children and 89% more likely to be diagnosed with autism compared to children with one vaccination visit.
- Vaccinated children who were born preterm were 258% more likely to be diagnosed with at least one neurodevelopmental disorder, compared to children born preterm who remained unvaccinated. Nearly 40% of vaccinated preterm children were diagnosed with such a disorder, compared to 15.7% of those who were unvaccinated.
- Vaccinated children were 419% more likely to be diagnosed with encephalopathy (brain inflammation), 525% more likely to develop tic disorders and 581% times more likely to have a learning disability, compared to unvaccinated children.
- Among children born preterm who were subsequently vaccinated, the risk of brain inflammation and learning disabilities grew by 612% and 884%, respectively.
After reviewing the findings of the study, biologist Christina Parks, Ph.D. noted:
“While the connection between receipt of vaccines and autism has been of grave concern to many parents, this study makes it clear that even in the absence of an autism diagnosis, children’s brains are being damaged.”
In the 1990s, autism prevalence was around 1 in 1,000 children.
However, autism rates in kids have now skyrocketed to 1 in 36, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The study’s authors noted this increase is commonly attributed to higher exposure to toxic chemicals along with greater awareness of autism-related symptoms.
However, the authors attest that their results suggest the childhood vaccination schedule is the most likely factor behind the sharp increase in autism diagnoses.
“The geographically widespread increases in ASD [autism spectrum disorder] and ADHD suggests a role for an environmental factor to which virtually all children are exposed,” the study notes.
“One such factor is routine childhood vaccinations.”
The authors cited figures showing that the number of vaccines included in the CDC’s childhood schedule has surged in recent years.
The number of injections today has now increased nearly threefold when compared to the 1983 vaccination schedule.
In the study’s paper, Mawson and Jacob state:
“Although vaccination is said to be safe and effective for the great majority of children, a legitimate question is whether the expanded schedule could be contributing in some way to rising rates of NDDs [neurodevelopmental disorders].
“Any planned additions to the childhood vaccination schedule should be delayed until research to determine the safety of its impact on children’s overall health is completed.”
According to the study, the impact of vaccination on children born preterm has not been sufficiently examined.
“The possibility of adverse effects of vaccination on preterm infants may have been obscured by the primary importance placed on vaccinations for preventing neonatal infections,” the study said.
The study also noted that studies have often attempted to connect rising autism rates to specific vaccines.
However, the authors highlight that there has been less research exploring a possible link between the cumulative childhood vaccination schedule and autism.
“A link between vaccination and ASD could be due to the cumulative impact of all preceding vaccinations rather than to a specific vaccine alone,” the study said.
“ASD and other NDDs could be triggered by the last vaccination administered or by one or more of a series of vaccinations.”
“There is an urgent need for research to identify biological mechanisms and potential causal relationships between individual vaccines, combinations of vaccines, and other potential factors associated with neurodevelopmental disorders,” Mawson and Jacob said.
This news comes after another recent study found that Covid mRNA vaccines trigger behavioral changes in people.
As Slay News reported, leading researchers in South Korea confirmed that the injections are altering human behavior.
The troubling study found that people’s emotions, personalities, feelings, fears, stress levels, mental well-being, and general outlook changed after they were injected with the “vaccine.”
The peer-reviewed study, which included over 2 million participants, was published in the renowned Nature Journal.
Further, another major study in 2023 found that there were zero cases of autism among the universally unvaccinated children in America’s Amish communities.
As Slay News reported, the comprehensive study has found that no Amish children have been diagnosed with chronic conditions that impact the rest of America.
The researchers behind the study were unable to find a single Amish child who had been diagnosed with cancer, diabetes, or autism.
Another study conducted by the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF) also found that Covid death rates among Amish communities are 90 times lower than for the rest of America.
The main difference, the study revealed, is that Amish communities completely ignore CDC guidelines for vaccines, masking, lockdowns, etc.
Meanwhile, members of the World Economic Forum (WEF) have unveiled plans for permanently mass-vaccinating the general public “every six months” with “long-acting” mRNA “vaccines” as part of an alleged effort to supposedly tackle multiple diseases.
During panel discussions at this week’s annual WEF meeting in Davos, Switzerland, globalists have been laying out plans for tech-driven precision medicine, “long-acting injectables,” “climate-sensitive” vaccines, and mRNA therapeutics for non-communicable diseases.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
