Dr. Vernon Coleman’s ‘The Big Kill’, a free book on Britain’s proposed euthanasia programme
Dr. Vernon Coleman has written a book to highlight the dangers of Kim Leadbeater’s proposed euthanasia bill. He has made the book available to read for free online.
You can read and download a PDF copy of Dr. Coleman’s book HERE. He asks that we send a copy, or the link to read it online, to our Members of Parliament before the bill is next voted on in the House of Commons. The following is a brief overview, a taste of what’s inside his book, although at 19 pages in his usual easy-to-read style, it won’t take long to read in full.
“There is, let us never forget, a plan to reduce the world’s population by nine tenths. Almost everything that is happening (and these days nothing happens by accident or coincidence) is driven by that conspiracy. The global warming myth, the massive immigration programmes, the end of medicine, the destruction of farming and economies around the world – all are part of the plan. Euthanasia or doctor assisted killing, is a global movement designed to murder the sick, the disabled, the weak, the poor, the mentally ill, the unemployed, the elderly and anyone who is seen by the Government as a cost to the State. We have entered our own killing fields and this is truly the slaughter of the innocent.”—Dr. Vernon Coleman, Preface to ‘The Big Kill: Is Britain’s Euthanasia Bill Just another Deadly Step in the Depopulation Plan?’ (2025)
Dr. Vernon Coleman believes there is a plan to reduce the world’s population by nine-tenths, and euthanasia is a part of this plan to kill the sick, disabled, weak and elderly.
The proposed Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, also known as the Leadbeater Bill, will allow the State to step up the killing of vulnerable people, including the frail, poor and depressed, under the guise of euthanasia. To prove his claim is justified, he turns to the example of Canada.
Canada’s Euthanasia Programme
Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (“MAiD”) law, introduced in 2016, has been expanded to include disabled people and those with mental health conditions, with some critics arguing it is being “abused.”
There have been cases of patients, including veterans and those with non-life-threatening conditions, being coerced or pressured into choosing MAiD, with some being offered euthanasia instead of treatment. Examples include Christine Gauthier, a Canadian military veteran who was offered MAiD instead of a wheelchair ramp, and Alan Nichols, who was killed by a lethal injection due to hearing loss, highlighting concerns that the system is motivated by cost savings rather than patient care.
State-Sponsored Murder Doesn’t Come Cheap
Who will pay for the wilful murder of citizens? The government doesn’t specify, but taxpayers will obviously bear the brunt, even though the Government has not asked the taxpayers if this is how they would like their money to be spent. (Note: Dr. Coleman didn’t write this in his book; this first paragraph is our addition to it.)
The UK Government’s euthanasia programme is expected to have high costs, Dr. Coleman points out, including £11 million in training costs in the first six months and £10 million in annual running costs within a decade, both of which could be significantly, ten times, higher in reality.
“And each doctor-assisted murder will require six health care professionals working 32 hours. (If that’s 32 hours each, then that’s a total of nearly 200 hours of doctor/nurse time that could be spent looking after quite a lot of live people instead of killing just one),” Dr. Coleman says.
“Oh, and each murder will require a review panel consisting of a lawyer, a psychiatrist and a social worker. That’ll cost another £2,000 a day, not counting cups of coffee and biscuits and administration,” he added.
“The money, effort and time would clearly be better spent on providing decent palliative care for those who are dying. That would also be kinder, gentler and more in keeping with the tradition of healing.”
The Depopulation Plan
Leadbeater’s Bill, Dr. Coleman says, has always appeared to be part of a global depopulation plan, aiming to reduce the population and save billions by cutting pensions and benefits bills, targeting the poor, disabled, unemployed and elderly.
“The aim of the depopulation plan is to kill as many of us as possible – thus liberating millions of pounds which can be used to buy bombs and bullets for new wars and used to keep armies of uninvited visitors living in luxury in smart hotels. Worn-out workers who have paid taxes for decades, and who helped build Britain, are considered an irrelevant nuisance; thrown on the scrapheap and abandoned,” he says.
The UK’s proposed euthanasia bill will significantly impact many lives but there has been no genuine public debate. And it will likely be extended to target vulnerable groups such as children, the disabled and the poor. Millions of people are already consumed by fear and feel hopeless about the future. Is just killing them the right solution?
Countering Euthanasia Advocates’ Narrative
Dr. Vernon Coleman argues that the bill is not about patient choice, but about saving money and promoting a culture of death, and that it will lead to unnecessary deaths, particularly among vulnerable groups, and should be stopped.
Pain management is often inadequate due to misconceptions about addiction and reduced drug prescribing influenced by environmental concerns. And to further push patients towards euthanasia, Government policies are leading to the closure of hospices.
The euthanasia procedure is also not as it is made out to be; it is inaccurately portrayed as painless and dignified. However, the methods used to kill people are inconsistent and can result in prolonged, distressing deaths, with numerous complications reported. Additionally, ethical and logistical issues arise with drug availability and administration, leading to traumatic experiences for patients.
Ethical Concerns
The role of social workers and other non-medical professionals in euthanasia decisions is controversial and concerning. Terminal illness diagnoses are often uncertain, and patients can outlive predictions.
Also raising ethical concerns is that the reduction in medical care coincides with the promotion of euthanasia. And this reduction in medical care is also being state-sponsored in the name of “climate change.”
“Some doctors are refusing to prescribe painkillers because they have been wrongly told that global warming comes first and patients’ needs come second. The argument is that doctors should stop prescribing because drugs are affecting global warming. This is patently dangerous, cultist nonsense but without painkillers, more people will opt for the euthanasia option,” Dr. Coleman says.
If killing patients is part of the medical establishment’s response to the global warming myth, as Dr. Coleman demonstrates in his book ‘The End of Medicine’, “maybe we should remove the problem at source by offering euthanasia exclusively to conspirators, politicians and mainstream propagandists. If we got rid of all the idiots who believe in (and promote) global warming, the happiness quotient would rise dramatically,” he says.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

How is it possible that I am the first to comment? Don’t people see anymore or bother to look? Canada’s state of play is beyond belief. A leader in killing people? How things change. That England is no longer the land of Arthur and Galahad and the Round Table and bag pipes, freedom and William Wallace is not what God wants. God – the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Cathedrals and pipe organs. The Magna Carta the led to the American Constitution. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
