When elected, our government will . . .

How to formulate firm policies to make things honest and safe

by Steve Cook

It occurred to me that if one is REALLY interested in the wellbeing of the nation and providing for the People governance they actually need and want – and which assists their efforts to survive – one must have a manifesto that clearly specifies which laws one is going to enact.

Is there a way of identifying what laws to enact that will safeguard the rights of honest, productive people?

Well one approach is to look at what current governments and their minions are doing that inhibits the wellbeing of The People and really cheeses them off and then formulate laws that will name, prohibit and penalise such behaviours.

Here is just one example among a great many other desirable points of address:

Outlined in the Twitter post below is an issue that is clearly detrimental to the wellbeing of the nation’s citizens. One can easily formulate a law that will prevent it happening.

One could do the same with many issues people recognise as inimical to their wellbeing so I think I will feature these in a series of articles.

From all this we can I think develop a manifesto people will like and which if implemented will benefit the entire nation.

So have a look at this and see what you think.

The detrimental situation is as follows:

PROPOSED NEW LAW

If elected, our government will enact a law that makes it illegal for any person making any claim or assertion about any product, service or treatment not to have clearly, publicly disclosed any and all payments or favours received from any person or group involved in the production, sale distribution or implementation of any product, service or treatment under discussion or related thereto. Failure to disclose such payments or favours forthrightly and openly for free and easy public view shall be punishable by fines or imprisonment.

Okay, so the wording can be polished up but you get the basic idea.

We can apply this principle to any non-optimum behaviours, including those of politicians and officials who must be brought under the same laws that apply to everyone else and create for ourselves an environment that is honest and safe.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
