Who is Doing the Solving?

Behind any war or social problem that will not resolve, there are men or groups working on some agendum that they imagine to be for their advantage and which they pursue even at the cost of lowering the survival potential of everybody else.

Sane men resolve problems, particularly where survival stands in serious jeopardy.

If those setting the agenda of international relations were sane, capable of reason and motivated by concepts of optimum survival, problems would be resolved towards the assistance of survival, not the introduction of massive inhibitions of survival, such as war.

The conduct of human beings and groups of human beings and thus their interrelations consist entirely of the agreements, disagreements, actions, in-actions, decisions, reactions, intentions, truths, lies, observations and misapprehensions of human beings.

Problems between nations or within nations therefore can only result from the intentions, decisions, actions, truths, lies and so forth of human beings.

Human beings, by their decisions and actions must create a problem or it would not exist.

At the root of all ”un-resolvable” problems between groups lie the decisions of men that determine that they will not be resolved and the actions that ensure they will not resolve, as decided.

In a situation where two parties were both motivated by long-term, optimum survival concerns, their motivations would be aligned and there would result no conflict.

Conflict between them would not occur unless created, where none previously existed, by motivating one or both in a new, counter-survival direction: that is, by the entry into the scene of persons or groups who are insane.

In a conflict between nations, for example, hidden among those persons or groups who are setting the policies and agendas for the nations concerned and conducting communication at the inter-national level on behalf of those nations, there must exist one or more who are pursuing criminal ends.

And those criminals must so misrepresent themselves to the nation on whose behalf they speak and act that the nation will not notice that their conduct and motivation are insane.

The way to resolve a problem is to remove that which causes it to exist.

To resolve the problem of war or other problems within groups that apparently defy our efforts to resolve them, it is therefore only necessary to locate and remove the small number of insane men or groups who are creating the problem.

And that is justice, the basics of which we shall examine.

So Who’s Making Life Hell?

Behind every instance of war, social turmoil, civil strife, unrest, social injustice, imperialistic brutality, punitive taxation, environmental neglect or any manifestation of decline and decay – any lowering of survival potential – that ever made good people miserable throughout all of history there were criminal persons and groups engaged in counter-survival actions.

The only exceptions to this are the natural disasters such as earthquakes or volcanoes that sometimes occur but in the realm of human interrelations, there is no disaster that is not man-made. And bay man-made, we mean made by specific persons.

Those counter-survival actions disrupt the cohesion of groups and undermine their alignment to agreed survival goals by introducing unaligned or contrary, non-survival goals, objectives and actions.

Put simply: human beings tend to get along pretty well but a small minority of nuts has made life hell.
